Becket provides youth in Newfoundland and Labrador with access to wraparound services — connecting you to health, wellness, housing, education, employment, and family supports in one safe, welcoming place.
Below, you’ll find a curated list of additional resources from trusted community partners, programs, and organizations across the province.
If you need immediate support, there are many services and resources available to help:
- Medical Emergencies: Call 911 if urgent medical help is required. If this is an overdose situation, remember that the Good Samaritan law protects individuals from simple drug possession charges when reporting an overdose.
- Mental Health & Addictions Crisis: Call 811 (Health Line), available 24/7, confidential and free, staffed by registered nurses who can provide support and connect you to appropriate services
- Suicide or Crisis Support: Call or text 9-8-8 toll free, 24/7, for immediate support in English or French in Canada
- Crisis Text Support for Youth and Adults: Text 686868 to connect to trained Kids Help Phone volunteers should we add this or not?
